A note to readers on upcoming posts

Starting tomorrow my post will be a bit of a change. Instead of a poem, story, or essay I’ll be posting the first part of a photo essay on how I make a knife from scratch. I was going to do this in two parts, but due to the photographs and e-mail size limits it’s wound up stretching through four posts total.

I hope you’ll enjoy this digression from my normal doggerel and occasional foray into fiction. In any case, regular programming will resume on August 22.
