The Fall
The One Whose very breath begets the wind, Whose blink divides the daytime from the night, Whose thoughts are but the engine of creation, Could He not make Man to resist temptation? He must have planned the war that sundered heaven, The cause of all the strife that was to come. Caused the dooméd seraphs to rebel, Knew that they were lost before they fell. Thus the seeds of sin in Man were planted And fruited when the serpent tempted Eve. So we, forever cast from Eden's grace, Divinity and light would ever chase.

It reminds a bit of the end of Paradise Lost. How the fall was necessary for an even greater good to become possible.
Needless to say, comparison to Milton is meant as a compliment. :)
